Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Therapy (EPAT)
Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Therapy (EPAT) is a safe, comfortable and proven procedure for men to optimize sexual performance and to reverse the effects of Erectile Dysfunction (ED) due to poor blood flow.
EPAT utilizes high frequency, low intensity sound waves to improve blood flow to the penis. The sound waves repair aged blood vessels, stimulate growth of new blood vessels and remove decades of micro-plaque. EPAT uses a specific protocol designed to optimize efficacy, safety and results.
What to Expect?
EPAT is a non-invasive procedure that uses pulse waves to improve blood flow to the penis and to boost sexual performance. It’s a safe and effective treatment that is drug free, surgery free, totally non-invasive, performed in-office and provides long-lasting results.
How does it work?
EPAT works by using high-frequency acoustic waves to open existing blood vessels in the penis, stimulate the growth of new blood vessels, and eliminate micro-plaque. The result is increased blood in the penis resulting in stronger, harder, and more sustainable erections.
What are the benefits?
- Enhances Erections
- Improves Sexual Performance
- Increases Sensation in the Penis
- More Spontaneous Erections
- Better Orgasms
How long do the effects last?
EPAT effects have been medically proven to last 2- 3 years.
Is this new?
This therapy has been used in Europe for more than 15 years with great success.
Are there side effects?
There are little or no known side effects.
Is there clinical research?
There have been multiple studies that verify the effectiveness of the shock wave treatment used in EPAT.
Explore some of these clinical studies below:
- Can low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy improve erectile dysfunction? A prospective, randomized, double-blind, placebocontrolled study
- A First Prospective, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial Evaluating Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy for the Treatment of Peyronie’s Disease
- Extracorporeal shockwave therapy in the treatment of erectile dysfunction: a prospective, randomized, double-blinded, placebo controlled study
- Shockwave treatment of erectile dysfunction
- Low intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction: a study in an Indian population
- Can low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy improve erectile function?
How many treatments are required?
Depending on your goals, anywhere from 6 – 12 treatments. We also have a preventative maintenance and performance program to maintain results and optimize performance.
What is the difference between EPAT and Viagra, Cialis or other ED Medications?
With EPAT there are no expensive prescriptions to remember to refill, or pills to remember to take. There are none of the harmful side effects with the EPAT treatment as there are with oral ED drugs. EPAT can be used for men who cannot take oral ED medications, such as men with heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure. Also, EPAT can be used to treat Peyronie’s Disease, which Viagra and other oral ED drugs cannot.
What are the advantages of EPAT over Other "Male Enhancement" Procedures?
Unlike other “Male Enhancement” Procedures, EPAT:
- Is drug and surgery free
- Is completely non-invasive, and has little or no known side effects
- Is a simple in-office procedure, with each treatment taking only 20 – 30 minutes
- Provides long lasting results with no downtime
- The EPAT protocol actually addresses the root cause of ED – poor blood flow.
Who can benefit from EPAT?
Men with Erectile Dysfunction
EPAT has proven to be a safe and effective alternative treatment to Viagra and other oral ED medications. In fact, EPAT has proven to enhance sexual performance, with none of the harmful side effects!
Men with Peyronie’s Disease
EPAT has been shown to be a drug-free, surgery-free way to breakdown the scar tissue and reduce the curvature of the penis typical of Peyronie’s Disease.
Men Seeking Male Enhancement
You do not have to be suffering from ED, or any other medical condition to benefit from EPAT. If you want to perform your best, and satisfy your lover like you may never have before, EPAT can help!
Is EPAT only available for men with Erectile Dysfunction?
No. You do not have to be suffering from ED, or any other medical condition to benefit from this treatment. If you want to perform your best, and satisfy your lover like you may never have before, this therapy can help!
How it Works?
EPAT is a revolutionary male sexual performance procedure that uses low-intensity sound waves (also referred to as acoustic wave therapy) to improve sexual function in men, even if they suffer from a medical condition such as Erectile Dysfunction (ED) or Peyronie’s disease.
The EPAT procedure breaks up plaque formation in blood vessels and stimulates the growth of new blood vessels in the penis. This increases the blood flow to the penis and improves sexual function. In addition, the EPAT procedure activates the growth of new nerve tissue in the penis.
This process, called neurogenesis, enhances sensitivity in the penis. Because EPAT uses low-intensity sound waves and is non-invasive, it is often referred to as Low-Intensity Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (LI-ESWT).
What does it feel like?
This procedure is virtually painless thanks to Dr. Chan's experience. In fact, most patients don’t even realize when the treatment is taking place.
What can I expect?
A firmer, longer lasting erection with increased sensitivity will occur. An increase in size is also possible, especially in the girth. Everyone is different, so these results cannot be predicted ahead of time. Most men see about a 1⁄4 – 1⁄2 inch increase in length, and 1⁄2 – 1 inch increase in girth.
When will I see results?
At about three weeks, the growth factors will begin the process of making new and more viable tissue such as blood vessels and nerves. The process will continue for about 3 months, when the effect is fully realized, and can last for years.
Will there be lumpiness in the penis?
There is no lumpiness.
